Nomads players dominate Flames squad

Be Forward Wanderers has the highest number of its players making the cut to the Malawi national team squad for the formality 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Swaziland on September 3 at Kamuzu Stadium.

The Nomads have sent up to 6 players to the national team beating rivals Nyasa Big Bullets who contributed more players last time out.

Bullets have contributed 5 players and Blue Eagles have 3 players making the cut to the Nsanzurwimo Ramadhan’s 27-man preliminary squad.

The Nomads have more players in the Flames squad.

Silver Strikers have also seen its 3 players making the cut to the squad.

Goalkeeper Richard Chipuwa who returned to the Nomads a few months ago has been called to the squad.

Defenders Stainley Sanudi, veteran Harry Nyirenda and Francis Mlimbika add to the Nomads players list with midfielder Rafick Namwera and forward Peter Wadabwa completing the Nomads list to the squad.
