Devotion: Be at peace with all

Rom 12:18 “As far as it is possible for you be at peace with all men.”

Even if you dont like their behaviour and manner of life, be at peace with everybody.

Even if they hate you and wish you bad, be at peace with them. Even if your dont feel so, still be at peace with them.

Everybody you meet in life whether accidentally or not, was specifically assigned to bring you something in your life. God never made mistakes to bring them to you so be at peace with them. They may not come in a manner or in your prefered appearance, but be at peace with them.1Thes 5:13…. Be at peace among yourselves.

Dont wait for the other person to be at peace with you. Take every effort to be at peace with them.You should make a deliberate move to be at peace. Pursue the peace yourself till it is established. Heb 12:14 “Pursue peace with everyone, as well as holiness, without which no one will see the Lord.”

God mostly answers our prayer through people. Most of the things we pray for are brought in your life by people. Therefore be at peace with everyone. Think of What would happen if you are not at peace with the person who carries your answers. They may not deliver unto you and hence you may feel like your answers are delaying when it is yourself delaying them. You will lose. Therefore be at peace with everyone.

In Christianity we live in harmony always.There is a special blessing and corporate annointing when people come together to live in unity.Psa 133:1-3 “ Look how good and how pleasant it is when brothers live together in unity! It is like precious oil on the head, descending to the beard— even to Aaron’s beard— and flowing down to the edge of his robes. It is like the dew of Hermon falling on Zion’s mountains. For there the LORD commanded his blessing— life everlasting.”

Thank you Father for making me live at peace with everyone. Everyday I work in unity with those who come unto me.I will respect everybody regardless of their status and appearance.In Jesus Name.Amen.
