Airtel Malawi on Wednesday donated 10 computers to Kamponda Community Technical College in Mchinji district.
Speaking with reporters, Airtel Malawi Senior Zonal Business Manager Misheck Kavuta said the company has been a key partner in the education sector.
Kavuta added that they have been supporting the sector with various teaching and learning resources.
“Today we are presenting 10 computers with a 4GB router, the world is changing and access to information is critical as such this computers will help the learners as well as lectures to access internet so that they can access updated information on their field,” he explained
In his remarks, Mchinji Community Technical Principal Andrew Nogwe thanked Airtel Malawi for the donation.
Nogwe added that due to the problem of inadequate of computers students were finding it difficult more especially during assignments period.
He pledged to tighten security by ensuring that the students take good care of the computers.
Airtel Malawi has pledged to render the same donation to 11 technical colleges and the donation is over K60 Million.
