Mzuni FC on Tuesday held an emergency meeting to find solutions following the team’s poor performances over the past weeks.
The meeting was attended by the club’s executive committee, technical panel and players.
One of the players who attended the meeting said everyone was asked to explain his views on why the team is not performing well.
Chairperson for Mzuni Albert Mtungambera Harawa confirmed holding the meeting saying they wanted to encourage the coaching panel and hear the players’ opinions on the poor league performances.
He however refused to reveal more details on what they agreed upon.
“The meeting was indoor and normal so it’s a family issue, there is no way we can reveal what we discussed. We hold meetings each and every training session so it was normal as always,” said Harawa.
Mzuni are yet to win a league game since Millias Pofera Jegwe resigned as the club’s assistant coach, losing to Nyasa big Bullets 3-0, Azam Tigers 1-0, and Premier Bet Wizards 1-0.
At the moment, Mzuni are on position 11 with 9 points having played 8 games. The Mzuzu based side is yet to win at home.
