In the face of serious electricity problems,  Malawi President Peter Mutharika has ambushed the Electricity Generation Company (Malawi) Limited (EGENCO) management in Blantyre.

The President arrived at EGENCO offices at Umoyo House in Blantyre as time was clocking 10:20.
