Blue Eagles will welcome Be Forward Wanderers at the Nankhaka stadium this afternoon to battle it out for maximum points in the 2016 Tnm Super League.
This is an extremely important game for both teams as a win here will help the Area 30 cops to grab the first spot on the log table whereas a win will push the Nomads into the top four thereby making themselves hot contender’s to win this season’s league.
The earlier tie between the two sides in Blantyre finished 2-1 in favour of the Area 30 cops with Peter Wadabwa and Jimmy Zakazaka missing several glorious chances for the Blantyre giants.
It remains to be seen whether the two can make amends today as they also failed to make an impact in the Nomads’ 1 nil Fisd challenge cup semifinal win over the cops last weekend.
Interestingly, Blue Eagles will be welcoming their duo John Banda and Schumacher Kuwali who arrived last week from Mozambique and their fans will be looking forward to see them feature for their club again as the two were vital for the cops in the past seasons. Nomads fans will be hoping that hitman Wadabwa will make a difference as the striker has now found the scoring touch in the league.
Speaking to the media, Blue Eagles team manager Gabriel Chirwa said it will be an entertaining match at Nankhaka and his team is looking for a win when the two sides will be locking horns.
While the Nomads team manager Steve Madeira has said it will not be an easy match but they are also looking forward for a win in today’s match.
He also urged the team’s supporters to go to Nankhaka in large numbers to show support for their team.
I will die a NOMAD no matter what! Go nyerere go! Tili pambuyo panu no matter what comes i will always support my TEAM.
