Just In: Nomads sponsorship up to MK 103 Million

Reports reaching Malawi24 shows that Mighty Wanderers FC sponsors, Be Forward, have increased their sponsorship package to the club from 70 to 103 milion Malawi Kwacha per season.

According to the reports, the Japanese second hand cars dealers have renewed the contract with the Nomads since their initial deal expired last year.

With the coming in of Be  Forward, Nomads spent about 11 million kwacha on player transfers last season as they brought in Cameroonian striker Lionel Atsu and other local players.

The new sponsorship deal means Wanderers will become the richest club in the country followed by arch-rivals, Big Bullets, who recently sealed a 500 million Kwacha five year deal with Nyasa Manufacturing Company.

However, there has been no official communication from the club or the sponsors on the matter.

Last season, the Lali Lubani outfit won the Carlsberg Cup, finished as runners up in the Standard bank cup, and sealed the 4th position in the Super League.
