It was a weekend to remember for Epac fc as they have managed to collect all six points in their trip to the North.
The happy times for Epac began on Saturday when they handed Mzuni FC their first home defeat of the season.
On the same day in Lilongwe, Blue Eagles dislodged Silver Strikers from the top of the Tnm Super League log table following their 2 nil win over Civo United at Nankhaka stadium. Blue Eagles led midway through the first half after Gilbert Chirwa capitalised on a Civo Service United defensive error.
The Area 30 cops doubled their lead in the second half through Victor Nyirenda.
In other games on Saturday, Moyale Barracks were beaten 1 nil by Mafco at Chitowe stadium in Nkhotakota with Richard Mbulu scoring the only goal of the match whereas Azam Tigers registered their first win at Kamuzu stadium in the 2016 Tnm Super League after beating Kamuzu Barracks 1 nil.
The Kau boys won courtesy of a Stain Pendame goal which came in the dying minutes of the second half. Come Sunday, Epac continued their fine form in the north when they beat Karonga United 1 nil at Mzuzu stadium to move to position 8 on the log table with 13 points from 10 matches.
At Zomba community ground, Red Lions came from behind to salvage a point after playing to a 1 all draw against Kamuzu Barracks.
Manase Chiyesa scored for the Lilongwe based soldiers whereas Moses Nankumba levelled the scoreline.
In another game played on Sunday Moyale Barracks beat Dwangwa united 2-1 at Chitowe stadium in Nkhotakota to move to position 3 on the table with 17 points from 10 games. Week 9 produced 9 goals from the 7 matches that were played over the weekend.
