Civo Service United on Saturday failed to get out of the relegation zone after suffering a loss at the hands of Salima based soldiers Mafco fc at Chitowe.
The servants who stopped their coach Charles Manda from training players this week, did not secure the win that would have given them hope of staying in the Tnm Super League next season.
A goal from Kingsley Nkhonjera in the first half of the game gave Mafco the maximum three points.
The result means Civo still have 21 points and are on position 15 on log table. They now remain with two games to wind up the season.
