The cream of Malawi’s urban music will spice up Barry One’s Maso Atseguka album launch slated for 10th September at Robins Park in Blantyre.
The rapper has been updating his fans on who will be supporting him during his fourth album launch. As if he knows people’s preferences, the veteran has come up with a menu full of charismatic big names with an undisputed sound reputation in music circles.
Malawi24 can reveal that a total of seven supporting acts have been confirmed so far.
Internationally recognized Tay Grin and Theo Thompson makes the list that also includes; Fredokiss, Gwamba, Martse, Piksy, Sonye, Zimbabwe’s hot rapper Trey XL, Kell Kay and Saint.
However, it is yet to be known if more artists are going to be added on the list or not. Barry found himself in the palms of favour having partnered with K-Dub company about two weeks ago as the company is now facilitating his projects.
The Blantyre based rapper has survived the test of time, a factor that carried some weight in the company’s decision to sign him. His followers have spoken highly of what promises to be one of the most appetising album launches.
The anticipation is very intense with the local media getting awash with updates about the 10th September event.
