APM names Karonga-Chitipa Road after brother

Chitipa-Karonga road named after Bingu

President Peter Mutharika has commanded government to name the Karonga-Chitipa road after his brother, Bingu wa Mutharika.

According to press reports, the order has been issued following completion of the multi-billion Chinese funded road.

Office of the President and Cabinet has made the announcement that following the decree from APM, the road will now be named after the president’s late brother.

The road joins Lilongwe Stadium to fly Bingu’s name under APM’s orders.

    Again this displays myopic reasoning by the so called Malawi leadership (if at all there is any). I repeat it is the president’s responsibility to develop his country, mandatory for that matter. No need to clap hands for him or her for performing a dutiable function. Even Kamuzu was over praised in similar fashion and strangely we also have Bakili Bridge.

    Women, do you have to praise ur husbands for bringing food on your table when it is their responsibility? Ankati chani pofunsira?
