Bushiri donates K44m to the Flames

South Africa based Malawian prophet Shepherd Bushiri has donated K44 million to the Malawi national football team.

The flamboyant prophet made the revelations a few minutes ago at the Football Association of Malawi (FAM) at Chiwembe in Blantyre.

According to Bushiri, the donation is not meant to help the team ahead of the match against Guinea next week but for the long term use for the team.

“I was approached by the coach and other officials and that is why I see it befitting to help the team. I believe we have best players who will fly our flag well,” he said.

Bushiri also revealed that he eyes setting up a football academy in the country in due course.
