The Southern Region Football Association (SRFA) has advised newly promoted side, Max Bullets, to boost their squad with experienced players in order to stand the heat in the Tnm Super League next season.
Max Bullets earned their first ever Super League promotion after emerging champions in this year’s Nsejjere Southern Region Football League on Saturday after they narrowly beat Prison United 1-0 at Sedi ground in Chiradzulu.
However, SRFA general Secretary, George Mpagaja, has advised the Chiradzulu outfit to sign experienced players in order to improve the team.
“If you see Max, it’s a good team comprising youthful players. But joining Super League, they face a huge challenge. So if they need to compete and remain in the top flight league at least they should boost their squad with 3 or 4 experience players in order to add firepower in their team. Believe me they will do better and will not face the chop,” said Mpagaja.
Meanwhile, Mpagaja has applauded the champions saying they deserve the promotion.
He said: “We would like to congratulate them for emerging champions. They were outstanding throughout the tournament and they deserve to be promoted. We just wish them well in the top tier.”
