Matindi television managing director Tupile Mwenelupembe said they have decided to partner Max Bullets, since it is a hard working team.

“This is part of our job to give entertainment and sports, Max Bullets is a hard working team though now things are not working for them we hope it will improve,” Mwenelupembe said.

According to Mwenelupembe, the television station will continue supporting the club even if they are relegated from the Super League.

Max bullets were the first team to be promoted to the country’s top league after being declared 2015 champions of Nsejjere southern region football association league.

But the team has so far pocketed only two points in the 2016 TNM super league season and are placed on position 15 of 16 on the log table after week four.

The team’s dismal performances in the league led to the firing of their coach Patricio Kulemeka.
