Super League side Karonga United is looking for players to undergo trials at the club.
Chairperson for the club Chipanga Banda said the team wants new players who will train at the club for a month starting from February 1st.
“We are appealing to those who wants to try their luck to play for Karonga to come from 1st February,” said Banda.
According to Chipanga, the club’s current players will regroup in March to start preparing for the 2019 season.
At the moment Karonga are also looking for a coach to lead the team next season.
“We are looking for a coach to replace Christopher Nyambose who resigned before end of the season and we are sure by the end of January we are going to have a new coach,” he said.
So far, Dan Dzimkambani, Oscar Kaunda and former Mzuni coach Alex Ngwira are in the running for the Karonga job.
Karonga ended the 2018 season on position 7 and will participate in the 2019 Airtel Top 8 Cup.
