Police recover bones of murdered albino child

Police in Kasungu have recovered bones believed to be of a one year and eleven month-old albino girl who was abducted from her home on April 4 whilst sleeping with her mother. crime (2)

According to police, they found a skull and teeth as well as clothes and a napkin that belonged to the missing girl in the hills of Balanta which is in Traditional Authority Kapichira in Kasungu district.

Police arrested the father of the child identified as White Chilumpha, 26, and his friend James Kanjira, 19, in connection to the murder of the deceased.

The law enforcers have also arrested Laston Phiri, 24, Deus Kabango, 21, and Alfred Mwale, 18, who admitted to have abducted and killed the child.

The suspects also revealed the place where they buried the bones of the girl.

The police escorted the suspects to the place and they recovered the bones. The five suspects have since been charged with murder and will appear before court soon.

Meanwhile, the bones have been taken to Kamuzu Central Hospital for medical examinations.
