British Award-winning British actor Idris Elba has tested positive with the COVID-19 virus commonly known as the coronavirus.
Elba made the announcement on Twitter through a short vlog.
“This morning, I got some test results back for Coronavirus and it came back positive and it sucks. I’m doing ok. Sabrina hasn’t been tested and she is doing okay.
“I didn’t have any symptoms. I got tested because I realised I was exposed to someone who had also tested positive for coronavirus. I found out last Friday that they were tested positive. I quarantined myself and got tested immediately” says Elba in the video while accompanied by his wife, Sabribna.
Elba has asked people to consider the social distance as a preventive measure. Watch the full clip below:
