A 14 year old boy with albinism, Goodson Makanjira has been found dead, with body parts chopped off and skin peeled off two days after he had gone missing in Dedza district.
This is coming at a time when various stakeholders including the police have scaled up efforts to take the malpractice.
It is reported the teenager was found near a river with teeth, eyes and private parts removed.
He was abducted by six masked men, according to relatives who had broken into the house where Goodson was sleeping along with his parents and sister.
The Association of People with Albinism in Malawi has since urged government to declare the nation unsafe for people living with albinism.
Now, about six cases of attacks on people with albinism have been reported.
Other researchers have stated the attacks are linked to elections.
This is so sad, and yet they are busy beefing up security on so called a running Mate instead of finding measures to protect the Albinos.
