The Flames now lie on position 117 on the global scene.
From August to September the Flames had dropped from position 106 to 116.
The Flames recently drew 1-all with Tanzania in a friendly in their official match before a 1-0 win against Togo and another 1-all draw against Morocco’s Under 23 side.
Tunisia became the new number one in Africa and 28th in the world leapfroging last month’s leaders, Egypt who came second in Africa and 30th in the world.
Senegal follow DR Congo and African champions, Cameroon on sixth position in the continent and 42nd in the world.
In the top 10 ranked countries, Germany retained the number one position in the world with 1631 points while Brazil is second with 1619 points.
Portugal is third, Argentina fourth, Belgium fifth, Poland sixth and France seventh.
