Silver Strikers will play a friendly match with a team comprising Super League players who plays in various Lilongwe based teams as part of the Reserve Bank of Malawi 50th anniversary celebrations which will be held on Saturday at Silver stadium.
The Lilongwe Super League Select team is made of players who play for Civo United, Kamuzu Barracks, and Epac fc.
The team will be coached by Civo United head coach, Oscar Kaunda, and will be assisted by Temwa Msuku while Abbas Makawa will be the team manager. The panel has been appointed by the Football Association of Malawi technical director.
Oscar Kaunda has since called a 23 man squad which includes Kamuzu Barracks goal minder Amadu Ali and Civo United goalkeeper Duncan Mkandawire.
The coach has also called Civo Captain Emmanuel Zoya as well as Harvey Mkacha, Raphael Phiri, and Pempho Kamsichili to be part of the team that will play Silver on Saturday.
