Traditional Authority Chiwere of Dowa district has died.
Spokesperson in the ministry of local government, Muhlabase Mughogho, has confirmed about the demise of the traditional leader.
TA Chiwere, born Cryton January, died in the early hours of Wednesday. He succumbed to complications of stroke at Dowa District Hospital
The traditional leader was born on 22nd September 1939 and was installed as TA Chiwere in 2014. He is survived by a wife, 14 children 47 grandchildren.
Mughogho said details of burial will be announced later.
