Blantyre based hip hop duo Street Fame has engaged services of big names for a remix of their hit single Gold Chain which is currently going through the production process.
Media reports indicate that Angolan born South Africa based artist Gbaby Dasilva and Malawi’s hip hop queen Rina, have been featured on what could be another hot music collaboration.
It is clearly evident that the media is yet to get hold of names of other artists that have been featured in the remix. However rumour has it that a number of gigantic figures in local hip hop complete the puzzle.
The final product for the remix is expected to be released in the summer although an exact date remains under armpits. From the look of things, this happens to be among the most highly anticipated songs in Malawi music.
Street Fame is a two member group that comprises of rappers, Toast and T-One.
The duo deservedly claimed their place in Malawi hip hop having come up with good international standard visuals for Gold Chain.
