A man at Dzungu village in Bvumbwe has died suddenly after he began experiencing difficulties in breathing, police say.
According to Limbe Police Assistant Public Relations Officer Widson Nhlane, the deceased has been identified as Matias Black.
Nhlane said that on Saturday Black’s nephew who was staying with him realised that his uncle was having difficulties in breathing.
“The deceased was a radio repair and was staying with his nephew who on this fateful day discovered that Black was not breathing well,” said Nhlane.
He added that the deceased’s nephew informed neighbours but upon making arrangements to take Black to the hospital, he died.
Nhlane further said that the matter was reported to police who went there with a doctor. A post-mortem revealed that Black died of Hypoglycaemia (low sugar levels in the blood). Matias Black hailed from Matewere village T/A Mlumbe in Zomba district.
