Former Epac fc forward Jafali Chande has refused to sign a new contract at Nyasa Big Bullets as rivals Mighty Wanderers are reportedly closing in on his signature.

According to information reaching Malawi24, Chande is demanding 3 million kwacha as a signing on fee from Big Bullets.

However, the club has failed to meet the player’s demands. Chande is not happy as he is also fearing for his starting place at Bullets due to the arrival of Muhammad Sulumba.

This has made Chande to seriously start considering his future at the club.

He has vowed that if Bullets will not listen to his demands he will be moving away from the club and he will join rivals Wanderers during the ongoing transfer market.

This development comes barely a month after this publication reported that the Nomads are chasing for Chande’s signature. Wanderers are also interested in signing Bullets striker Mussa Manyenje and goalkeeper Owen Chaima who will be Richard Chipuwa’s replacement after the Nomads lost the goalkeeper to a Mozambican club earlier this year.

If Wanderers indeed sign Chande, Chaima and Manyenje, it will be a huge coup for the Nomads who have also signed Peter Wadabwa from Silver strikers as well as Rafiq Namwera and Ernest Tambe from Wizards.
