  9. This Zambian is not knowledgeable with what has happened to Zambian kwacha. The Zim kwacha has undergone a process called redenomination, where some zeros are removed from the currency or a decimal point moved some places to the left. This is done because monitory headaches and high inflation. Remember in Zambia, there were K20,000 and K50,000 notes. So to reduce the dead weight of carrying money to markets and shops, redenomination has been considered. However, the value and buying power remains the same because this is not revaluation. I think I have schooled this stupid Zambian who thinks the redenominated Zambian kwacha is any better than our Malawian kwacha

For your own own information, our Zambian clubs, just a shirt sponsorship deal is worthy K1.7 million, which is billions if not trillions in Malawian Kwacha.
