Mzuni F.C came from a goal down to register their first away win of the season when they beat Dwangwa United 2-1 at Chitowe stadium on Sunday afternoon.
The entire first half was all but dominated by fight for an opener. Both sides kept creating chances but forwards kept being shy to make vital finishes upfront.
But it was Dwangwa who first opened the scoreline with a beauty pass Mzuni goalkeeper Rabson Chiyenda and the first half ended 1 nil in favour of the Dwangwa based side.
After the break Mzuni F.C come in with fresh ideas as they were in search for an equalising goal and they did not take wrong as they equalised mid way through the second half of the match through Lackson Sangano and it was 1 all.
After that goal both sides sides again started displaying good passing football as they were all in search for important goals that could have helped them to kill the match.
As the game was going towards the end and it looked to be settling for a draw Smith Kadawasi netted in Mzuni fc second to help them beat Dwangwa 2-1.
The result moved the students to position 4 on the log table with only 3 points away from log leaders Silver Strikers.
At Kamuzu stadium Azam Tigers were held to a goalless draw with Wizards in a game that Wizards created a lot of chances.
