Silver, Wanderers square up in league match

Malawians’ attention will this afternoon be glued to Silver Stadium in Lilongwe where there will be a titanic battle between the country’s soccer giants, Silver Strikers and Mighty Be Forward Wanderers.

Sparks and emotions are guaranteed to fly high, not only at the venue of the game but also across the country as the two sides will be meeting barely 24 hours after Wanderers rivals Big Bullets dropped points against Moyale on Saturday afternoon.

A lose or a draw for Wanderers will also be a topic of discussion just as it was yesterday when the 2015 Super League champions dropped two points at the hands of the soldiers of Kaning’ina.

Both Silver Strikers have assembled quality squads as they were the busiest teams during the transfer market and their clash is promising to be an entertaining match as they will all use their best arsenals in trying to collect their first 3 points in their opening match.

Last time the two teams Silver Strikers and Mighty Wanderers met was on Saturday 28 November 2016 and Silver came out victorious, beating Wanderers by a goal to nil at Silver Stadium.

Both Wanderers and Silver strikers have promised a win for their fans and they have urged them to go to Silver Stadium in their large numbers to witness this mouthwatering Tnm Super League fixture.

In other Super League matches, Dwangwa United will be in a titanic battle when they take on Blue Eagles at Chitowe Ground whereas Red Lions will take on Epac fc at Balaka Stadium.

Max Bullets will play their first ever Super League game when they travel away to Azam Tigers this afternoon in a game that will be played at the Kamuzu Stadium.
