According to Dr. Zacc Kawalala whose sermon is featured in the song and is also a senior Pastor at Word Alive ministries where Kalilani works as a youth pastor, the song was not released by Kalilani.

In an interview with Brian Banda, Kawalala said that the youth pastor of his church did not release the song.

“The song is a part of a project which is on hold, I told David to keep the song so that we could change a few things. While we were still working around that, someone stole the song from the studio and leaked it to the public,” said Kawalala.

He said that when the song was produced, Kalilani took it to him to listen to it and offer comments. He said his opinion was that the song as it was did not have to be aired.

When questioned what they would do if Bushiri decides to drag them to court, Kawalala said Bushiri’s actions would help people determine whether he was a true prophet of God.

“Jesus was called Beelzebub but didn’t drag anyone to court,” he said.

The viral song among other things says that Bushiri is a fake prophet who gets powers from the devil and sleeps with his church members.
