Malawi super league newly promoted side, Chilumba Barracks FC, have appointed Airborne Rangers coach, Stereo Gondwe, as their head coach.
Gondwe has signed a 2 year contract with the northern region based Super League team.
The new head coach has confirmed the development saying he will travel to the north this week to start making preparations for the 2016 Super League season.
“I have signed a 2 year contract with Chilumba Barracks and I am expected to start working with the team next week,” said Gondwe.
Gondwe added that he will start preparing for the new Super League season as soon as possible and his main target will be making sure that he keeps Chilumba Barracks in the Malawi elite league.
The Karonga based soldiers were promoted to the elite league after winning the Simama Northern Region League and they will be using Mzuzu stadium as their home ground.
