Transfer News: Nomads targeting four Fisd Wizards players

In a bid to have a competitive side next season, Malawi’s 2015 Carlsberg Cup Champions, Mighty Wanderers, are eyeing four players from relegated FISD Wizards FC.

In a social media post after his team’s victory over Wizards on Sunday, Nomads vice team manager, Steve Madeira, said it is time to do business with Peter Mponda’s side since they have been relegated.

He wrote: “[Levison] Maganizo, [Ernest] Tambe, [Isaac] Mwale and [Brighton] Munthali are too good to go down to play in Nsejjere, we might speak to Peter Mponda to do business.”

FISD have been relegated from the Super League following their 3-1 loss on Sunday to Wanderers and will be going back to Nsejjere Southern Region Football League, a season after being promoted.
