Trouble brewing for lying Mutharika: JB sealed Chinese-funded projects in 2013

New evidence has surfaced suggesting that Malawi President Peter Mutharika was not being so honest when he announced that he has secured multi-million dollar deals with China.

A report that Malawi24 has seen reveals that all the projects that Mutharika announced yesterday were clinched with China in 2013 by his predecessor Joyce Banda, pinning Mr. Peter Mutharika as a shameless liar.

A report published by Nyasa Times on 4 June, 2013 shows that all the projects that the current administration touted were initiated by Banda, whom Mutharika at some point was accused of politically haunting.

The projects sealed by Joyce Banda which the lying Mutharika parroted as evidence of his dynamic leadership to develop Malawi include the 300 Megawatt Kam’mwamba Coal Fired Power Plant, rehabilitation of Chileka Airport and the E-national identification project.
