One of the up and coming gospel ensembles The Shepherds which germinated from Thundu CCAP in Bangwe Township in Blantyre have launched their first album since they started compacting tracks in the studios in the year 2011.

The album which is titled “Ndaimilira” was launched on Sunday 5th December at Robins Park in Blantyre. The launch attracted masses of gospel lovers to converge and enjoy the gospel breeze.

Speaking with our reporter after their performance, chairperson for the group Ben Benson said he was excited to see the mass audience coming to their launch, a development he described as a positive motivation to them.

He further said performing and appearing to the public is worthy enough to praise to the almighty God for it wasn’t easy to stand in the presence of the audience for the first time.

However, he noted that the huge audience motivated them and gave them momentum to perform and come up with new projects.

“This being our first performance to the multitude, it’s not easy and launching this today is God’s plan but it wasn’t easy at all. We know and understand that people love us and they are loving our product, it’s an honour and we salute them,” Benson said.

Benson further said the group will work together as they started as he said the group will not separate because of any extra factors saying the group is one voice, one strength one body in Christ and on a common mission which is to save God.
