As the saying goes, East or West home is the best, Malawi’s most followed musician Patience Namadingo has returned home from Zambia.

In a social media post, Namadingo has made the announcement. According to the singer, his return is owed to a business deal he has signed with one of the country’s financial institutions FDH Bank.

The artist has revealed that he has renewed his contract with the bank, and this time around, it is worth K60 million.

His return comes about two years since he switched his base to the neighbouring Zambia, citing lack of love from his motherland.

This has excited his fans from his Homeland. His followers and fellow musicians have congratulated him for the move.

“Welcome back Doc, when Zambians thought they had snatched you away from us, FDH Bank has ensured your return back home,” reads one of the comments

Hip hop artist Achina Gattah is one of the public figures who have congratulated him for the deal.

In a brief post Gattah says, “Congratulations Dr Namadingo.”

Patience return puts to bed the ‘fight’ over the artist between Malawians and Zambians.
