One of the longest serving Nyasa Big Bullets players has left the club after being offered a job at MUSCCO as a Community Mobilization Officer.
Diverson Mlozi has tendered in his resignation letter to Bullets Executive Committee after spending nearly eight years at the club.
According to a document which Malawi24 has seen, Mlozi, a graduate from Natural Resources College (NRC), submitted his resignation letter on Tuesday by giving a two week notice to his employers.
“Please accept this letter as 2 weeks’ notice of my resignation from my position as Nyasa Big Bullets player.
I received an offer to serve as a Community Mobilization Officer at MUSCCO.
I realize that this opportunity is too exciting for me to decline, it has been a pleasure working with you and your team and I cannot thank you enough for the opportunities this team has provided me.
“Working here for the past eight years has been incredibly instrumental in my personal growth and I will never forget the friends I have made here. I will miss the teammates, executive, the supporters and the technical panel and the team Nyasa Big Bullets,” reads part of the letter signed by Mlozi.
He joined Bullets from Mponela and managed to win the golden boot in 2008 in his debut season.
Meanwhile, Bullets Executive Committee is yet to react to Mlozi’s imminent departure from the club.
