Pro 3:28 ISV* “Do not say to your neighbor, “Go, and come back. I will pay you tomorrow,” when you have cash with you.”
Dont put anything to the next day when you know you should do it today and you are able to do so.
In life we meet different people needing help from us in one way or another. Sometimes we genuinely cannot give them what they are looking for immediately. However some christians like to procrastinate things. They like putting it in the future even if they could do it immediately.Dont be such.
Some of the neighbours are seeking salvation. In buses, planes and even in streets we meet lots of people we could minister the gospel to immediately. However sometimes christians are reluctant to minister the gospel immediately and instead opt for “a convenient time”.
However such a convenient time may not be found because if it is in a bus, the person drops off the next stage and will never meet them again in your life.
Paul tells Timothy not to procrastinate in preaching the gospel till the convenient time.2Ti 4:2 ISV* “to proclaim the message. Be ready to do this whether or not the time is convenient. Refute, warn, and encourage with the utmost patience when you teach.”
Ensure you do the thing because it is necessary to do it regardless of whether it is convenient or not. Always look at the necessity of the matter and guidance of the Holy Spirit rather than the convenience to you. Dont be selfish. Give some help to somebody somewhere.
