Information reaching Malawi24 indicates that the office of Malawi vice president Saulosi Chilima has launched a man hunt for Dziko FM radio presenter James Ibrahim who is known as Dj Scapper over his controversial ‘Kwachitikanji’ program.
A Staff member at the radio told this paper on Tuesday that veep’s press officer Pilirani Phiri stormed the radio’s offices looking for Dj Scapper for hosting a program that claimed of a bad relationship between Chilima and President Peter Mutharika.
He said in the midst of the program, Phiri called the radio’s boss to tell Dj Scapper to withdraw the program but the boss insisted on broadcasting it.
“He stormed our offices looking for Scapper who hosts Kwachitikanji program. This day he was revealing the hatred that exists between the president and his vice,” said the staff member who opted for anonymity.

He went on to claim that staff members are living in panic as they do not know what might be the next move from the veeps office.
“Scapper is in panic just as most of us because of the anonymity of their next move,” he added.
Efforts to talk to Dj Scapper proved futile as his phone could not be reached.
Likewise Pilirani Phiri’s lines could not be reached for comments before this post.
This is happening a few days after Mutharika attacked the Malawi media for exposing his bloated entourage for the his United Nations General Assembly trip.
