Acknowledge the Good things in You

Do you know that God has deposited a lot of good things in you. God’s desire is that His children must acknowledge the good things in them.

There are some people who look down on themselves and wish they were someone else. Others even look at children or wife or  something else belonging to a friend as better than their own.

Philemon 1:6. “That the communication of your faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.”  Acknowledge that you are unique.Psalm 139:14.” I will give thanks to you,    For I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful.    My soul knows that very well. ”

Acknowledge that you are of great value. You need to understand that what you don’t value, you abuse. If you don’t value yourself or what you have, you will abuse yourself or abuse what you have.

Those prostitutes have abused their bodies because they think they ate worthy some few dollars. They don’t acknowledge the value of  their body.

Our value is  worthy the blood of Jesus. All gold in heaven could not buy man.1 Peter 1:18-19 “knowing that you were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from the useless way of life handed down from your fathers, but with precious blood, as of a lamb without spot, the blood of Christ.”

Don’t allow anybody despise you a believer(1 Timothy 4:12). You carry carry God in you. When a president decides to live in a house, the price of the house increases even without doing anything to it.

The same as our bodies. When you get born again and Christ starts living in you, your value soars.

Therefore it is absurd to allow people to look down on you. Acknowledge the good that is on you which is Christ in you the hope of glory.

The other thing you need to acknowledge is your unique talents and skills. There is something good in you which if properly used can bring you resources.

Don’t spend much time admiring other stars. Take time to reflect on the Word of God and you will discover that you are a star on your own(Joshua 1:8).

God showed Abraham stars in heaven which represented his descendants as Stars in performance apart from numbers and you are one of those.

Confess with me: I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Am unique and I am talented. I will never look down on myself because God has loaded me with lots. In Jesus Name.Amen.
