Malawi Netball Kings have suffered their second consecutive defeat at the African Netball Cup in Nairobi, Kenya.
Today Monday, 21 September, 2026,t the Malawi men’s national netball team lost 42-37 to Eswatini.
The team started strongly, taking a 12-10 lead in the first quarter before Eswatini turned the game around to lead 22-20 at half-time.
Eswatini maintained its advantage in the third quarter, leading 33-30 before extending the gap in the final quarter to secure a 42-37 victory.
The defeat comes after Malawi also lost its opening match of the tournament 52-39 to hosts Kenya.
The Kings will now be looking to bounce back in their next match as they continue their campaign at the African Netball Cup.
