Political activist Bon Kalindo has blasted the MCP media team for propaganda against him assuring it that even if they can make 100 propaganda against him, he will remain Bon Kalindo and will continue fighting for the rights of the poor in Malawi.
Kalindo said it is sad that the MCP media team is working tirelessly to divert peoples’ attention from issues affecting the country in everyday life situations by shifting to making lies against him so that poor Malawians should not listen to him.
He has assured the MCP media team that he is more than ready to be arrested for speaking nothing but justice advising the media team to continue with their stories that President Lazarus Chakwera is delivering in the country other than fabricating lies against him.
Speaking through an audio clip circulating on various social media platforms, Kalindo said recently the MCP media team fabricated lies that he told the nation that Vice President Michael Usi would be killed in the same way as the departed Saulosi Chilima has sailed through.
Kalindo said that this was not enough, the team fabricated another lie to the nation that he had been arrested by police saying all these fabricated lies were being made to divert peoples’ attention from the mysterious and tragic death of Chilima another other.
He said if arrested, it is his group Malawi First would inform the media about his arrest by police suspecting the media team that wants Minister of Homeland and Security Dr Kenneth Zikhale Ng’oma to direct the police to arrest him after spending a month outside the prison and police cells.
The activist said he is hoping that if the police arrest him, there will be a convoy travelling with him on a journey he is visiting and inspecting police cells and prisons in the country the journey which took him to the southern and central regions expecting this time around, it will be the northern region.
“I cannot be threatened and silenced with police arrests, I will continue to be the freedom fighter for the voiceless citizens in Malawi,” said Kalindo.
He has also advised the UTM that while it is rebuilding itself after the departure of Chilima, to scrutinize people joining the party saying other people besides wearing UTM faces are MCP plant to destroy the UTM.
Kalindo has also advised the UTM that Madam Mary Chilima should be included in the daily activities of the party and strongly encouraged senior members of the party to get advice on running the party from Malawians not politicians claiming that some MCP members are predicting the party to end like curtains on the wall like the UDF.
