Mighty Mukuru Wanderers have missed a chance to go into the top four of the tnm Super League following a 4-3 loss to Civo on Sunday afternoon at Kamuzu Stadium.

Innocent Tanganyika scored a brace as the Lilongwe based side collected all points to get a place in top eight on the log table.

The Nomads, however, have two games in hand over fourth placed Silver Strikers and can move up the table if they win their next game against Sable farming on Wednesday.

Currently, Silver Strikers have 51 points from 30 games. The Bankers have played all their games in the 16-team league.

Nyasa Big Bullets have already secured the league title while Blue Eagles and Kamuzu Barracks are also assured of  position two and three respectively.

Moyale Barracks on position 7 and Civo on position 8 have completed their season but Civo will remain in the top 8 if Dedza Dynamos lose all their two remaining games.

Dedza have played 28 games and have 40 points. If they win all  matches, they will dislodge Civo who have 45 points.

In another match played today, Ekwendeni Hammers beat Kamuzu Barracks 1-0 at Mzuzu Stadium. Gift Chunga scored for Hammers who have finished the 2022 season on position 10.

Tn Stars and Karonga United drew 2-2 at Kasungu Stadium. Alfred Chizinga and China Chirwa scored for Tn stars while Josia Duwa and Henery Chiwaya scored for the visitors.

The 2022 tnm Super League is expected to be end on 19 November Bullets  welcoming Dedza Dynamos at Kamuzu Stadium.
