Back to the roots: Joseph Kamwendo back at Wanderers

Midfield maestro Joseph Kamwendo has returned to Be Forward Wanderers where he has penned a two year contract from Mozambique top side Liga Malcumana, Malawi24 can confirm.

Kamwendo who played for the Nomads earlier this year having been released by his club TP Mazembe from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) left for Mozambique where he played for the last four months.

Kamwendo who has failed to make the cut to the Flames squad which plays Swaziland this Sunday was unveiled on Wednesday in Blantyre.

Reports indicate that the dread locked star has reached a two year deal with the Lali Lubani side.

The former Orlando Pirates player was on loan at Don Bosco from TP Mazembe, both from Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

He has previously played for Vasco Da Gama of South Africa and Caps United of Zimbabwe.

His coming follows the return of veteran defender, Harry Nyirenda.

He will surely add the hype ahead of the Nomads Carslberg Cup final against Silver Strikers on 10th Septmeber at Kamuzu Stadium.
