Blue Eagles team manager Gabriel Chirwa says the club want to finish the first round of the TNM Super League on top of the standings.

Blue Eagles are the only side with a perfect run this term, collecting all six points from their first two outings while leading the 16-member table.

And Chirwa has voiced his desire to see his team finishing top of the pile at the end of the first round while promising fans that they will see a changed team this season.

“We can say that we want to finish top [ at the end of the first round], but as Blue Eagles we are aware that all teams are prepared this season and what we have to do is to work hard and focus until the end,” he told a local radio.

“We are just concentrating on scoring goals and we have to prepare well for each and every game, we know that people are talking a lot about Blue Eagles after the departure of other big players but this is 2016 and this is a different team, I think people will see a changed Blue Eagles.”
