Police in Kasungu district are keeping in custody a vendor who was found in possession of medical drugs without a license.
The suspect has been identified as 40 year-old Felix Malunga.
Police in the district say they received a tip that some people in the district were illegally selling medical drug.
The law enforcers later raided the suspect’s home where they found assorted medical drugs.
The drugs which police seized during the raid include five packets of Aspirin, four packets Ethromycin, two packets Chlorophenical, 800 tablets of Penicillin, two packets of Magnesium, and two packets of Doxycline.
The suspect will appear before court soon to answer the charge of being found in possession of medical drugs without a licence.
Malunga comes from Dickson village, Traditional Authority Kanduku in Mwanza district.
