Sheriffs in Blantyre today stormed Opportunity International Bank of Malawi (OIBM)Limbe Branch and seized office equipment because management failed to pay millions to a client.
Reports say the client sued the OIBM Limbe branch and was awarded K19 million by the courts.
However, management of the bank have been failing to pay the money and the client was forced to use extreme remedies.
And today, sheriffs seized motor vehicles, computers and other office equipment such that the bank has been forced to close the branch.

Hope this is a lesson enough if they are human cos all lending institutions never stand by anyones problems during tough times one faces in business. They lend you money, you pay them back & will not share your problem when faced with & they leave you poorer than before the loan & BLACK LISTED.
