Malawian man shot dead in SA

Thugs in South Africa have shot dead a Malawian man who was guarding a school in Johannesburg.

South Africa PoliceAccording to another Malawian staying in South Africa, Maimba Chingati, the deceased has been identified as 27 year-old King Kaira Nkonje who was working as a security guard.

Maimba said that on Thursday night Nkonje was guarding the institution and the thugs shot him dead when they wanted to rob the place.

The remains of the deceased are expected to land in the country soon since the man’s boss has promised to be responsible for all funeral arrangements.

Nkonje hailed from Nkhandwe village in the area of Traditional Authority Malengachanzi in Nkhotakota district.

In a related incident, another Malawian Katasefu Kamwendo has died in the rainbow nation after he was involved in a taxi accident.

According to Adam Bulian who knows the deceased,   the man was staying in Limpopo in South Africa.

Kamwendo hailed from Chisoti village, Traditional Authority Malengachanzi in Nkhotakota district.
