Two former police chiefs and the current Inspector General of Police are expected to appear before Parliament’s inquiry into the Chikangawa plane crash today.
Former Inspector General of Police Merlyne Yolamu, current Inspector General of Police Richard Luhanga and South East Region Commissioner of Police Glinton Mitaye are scheduled to testify at the Parliament Building in Lilongwe.
Mitaye previously served as Deputy Commissioner of Police for the Northern Region.
The three are expected to provide information to the inquiry as it investigates circumstances surrounding the crash.
According to the programme released by Parliament, the hearings will take place in two sessions, from 9:30am to 12:30pm and from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
