Former Be Forward Wanderers striker Khumbo Ng’ambi has signed a one year contract with newly promoted side Chitipa United.
The player and Chitipa’s assistant coach Robert Mziza have confirmed the development.
Ng’ambi had been training with Moyale Barracks and was expected to join the club but he has ended up joining Chitipa.
In an interview with Malawi24, the player said he is now back home and wants to show the world that he is still capable on the pitch.
“I am back home since I started my trade here so I am not a stranger,” said Ng’ambi.
Last weekend, Khumbo Ng’ambi scored a hat trick against Boma vCard from Tanzania as Chitipa won 3 nil.
