Philippians 3 : 13-14 ” I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
Your victory is ahead and hence need to forget the past and press on towards the prize. Forget all things behind you especially your failures and move ahead in life. If whatever you are doing is born of God, it will be successful and overcome the world(1 John 5:4)
You may have started small in whatever you do. You may seem not to be making any progress. You may think of abandoning whatever you do, however I have a good news for you. Things in the Kingdom start small but they grow. Be assured that you will become better as you press on.
Mark 4 : 30-32 ” Again he said, “What shall we say the kingdom of God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it? It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest seed you plant in the ground. Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the birds of the air can perch in its shade.”
Job 8 : 7 ” And though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would greatly increase.”
As you fellowship with the Holy Spirit He starts revealing to you what to do as you press on. Dont give up even if giving up looks like the best option. Winners press on to the end of the matter which is an increase. You may make some mistakes but still learn to rise up and press on.Proverbs 24 : 16 ” For a righteous man falls seven times and rises again, but the wicked are overthrown by calamity.”
