Miracle Chinga shakes Mzuzu

Thousands of people gathered at Squirrels Park in Mzuzu on Sunday to witness the launch of Grace Chinga’s Esther Album performed by her daughter Miracle.

The teenager sang all songs in the album and continued where her mother stopped. Grace died before finishing her album.

Spicing the show were Dr Ethel Kamwendo Banda, Thoko Katimba, and other gospel singers from Blantyre and Mzuzu.

One of the people who attended the show expressed satisfaction with the way the child is singing.

“I am satisfied with the way she is singing and the soul of Grace is still on, she is doing everything that was done by her mother,” said the patron.

While Kamwendo Banda thanked all people in the north for the support they showed.

“We were not expecting people to come in this number since Mzuzu were hosting a number of shows today,” said Banda.

Apart from Miracle, people also enjoyed songs from Miracle’s brother Steve Spesho.
