Security going low in Malawi : Armed robbers get away with K3m from filling station

Armed robbers this morning attacked Nsundwe Total Filling Station and went away with three million Kwacha.

The incident happened at around 1am today at the filling station which is located along Lilongwe-Mchinji road.

Accordinggun to reports made available to this publication, the suspects who are as of now on the run, were ten in number and were heavily armed with three having a rifle each.

It is reported that the criminals tied the guard of the filling station with a strong rope before breaking the cash chest.

Meanwhile, it has been established that the robbers have managed to get away with money amounting to MK3,115200.

The filling Station is along Lilongwe – Mchinji road and is owned by Milliward Takondwa from Mchinji.
